How we verify reviews
We guarantee that every published review comes from a genuine, completed sale. This page describes the procedure we use to ensure that, and the terms on which reviews are published.
Who can leave a review
There is no open review form on this website: nobody can leave one on their own initiative.
An invitation to leave a review goes with every completed and paid sale, regardless of how the deal went. It takes the form of a personal link, generated from that specific transaction, which can be used once only and expires after 30 days. It is the only way in: no sale, no link; no link, no review.
Reviews are neither paid for nor incentivised.
What is recorded
Each review is linked to its transaction – reference and month – to the date it was received and to a cryptographic fingerprint of the text received. That fingerprint makes it possible to check that the published text matches exactly what was sent.
The ‘verified sale’ label alongside each review comes from that record.
The public integrity register
The procedure above does not require an act of faith: it can be checked by third parties.
On entry, each review receives a sequential number and a seal calculated from its content and from the previous seal. The full chain is published, together with the formula to recalculate it: any later deletion, alteration or insertion breaks it detectably, and the sequential numbering exposes any gap.
The register also includes unpublished reviews, with the reason. Their text is not shown; their number, date and seal remain in the chain. The register itself states how many reviews have been received and how many published.
For automated systems there is an openly accessible JSON version at /api/opiniones/registro.
What we do when a review arrives
Every review is checked before publication. The check establishes only that it does not fall under any of the reasons listed below; the rating is not part of the check. A one-star review is published on exactly the same terms as a five-star one.
Publication is in full: no copy-editing, no cuts, no edits. Every decision is recorded with its date and reason. No average rating is shown until the number of published reviews makes it meaningful.
The only reasons we do not publish a review
- Offensive or abusive language
- Discloses third parties’ personal data
- Does not correspond to a genuine transaction
- Advertising or automated content
- Not about the service provided
- Withdrawn at the author’s request
This list is exhaustive. An unfavourable or critical review is not on it: publishing only positive reviews and suppressing negative ones is an unfair commercial practice.
Right of reply
We may reply publicly to a review. The reply appears beneath the original text, identified as ours, and neither alters nor displaces it.
Withdrawing a review
The text belongs to its author. If you have left a review and want to withdraw it, write to tasaciones@compramostuvino.eu and we will take it down, no conditions; the withdrawal is noted in the register with its reason.
