Private cellar with a complete wine collection

Real case · La Rioja 2025

‘We inherited our father’s cellar. We knew there was value in it, but had no idea where to start. They sorted it in three weeks, with respect and clarity.’

– M. R. · Family cellar

Dedicated service · Entire cellars

Inherited a cellar? We take it from here.

We speak of large collections when we are dealing with entire cellars, private cellar sales, family inheritances or corporate cellars. From 500 bottles upwards we apply a dedicated protocol, with a visit in person and one-to-one guidance throughout the process.

A specialist visits you in person; we inventory wine by wine (unopened cases included), value everything without haste and sign the complete transaction with every guarantee. No rush, no pressure, and a non-disclosure agreement if you ask for one.

We have done it with the cellars of closing restaurants, the inheritances of late collectors, company disposals and international relocations. Each case is different and we treat it as such.

En mi caso, me atendió Pablo. Siempre amable, educado, formal, contestó rápido a mis dudas. Les envié fotos de los vinos que pretendía venderles. Al día siguiente tenía su tasación. La acepté, firmamos un pequeño contrato (todo lógico y correcto para ambas par…

Section IV · Frequently asked questions

What everyonewants to ask.

We answer straight, with no small print. If your question is not here, write to us and a real person replies within 12 hours.

  • We operate with full Spanish tax registration (verifiable NIF), from La Rioja. Every transaction is formalised in a private sale agreement signed digitally, with your identity document or passport on record, payment by bank transfer in your name (never cash) and an invoice. You can ask us for references from previous clients before signing, or propose a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) at no cost. We do not work on impulse: the process is designed so that neither party can feel under pressure.

  • Yes – it is one of the cases we handle best. We know that behind an inherited collection there is a history and, at times, a certain emotional weight. We adapt: a discreet home visit, an unhurried inventory, a valuation wine by wine, and signature by all the heirs where required. Complete privacy and zero pressure.

  • There is no harm in showing them to us. We always value from photos and, if a bottle is not in a fit state (low fill level, damaged cork, affected label), we tell you honestly and either deduct it from the total or leave it out. You decide whether to sell the rest. No obligation.

  • Great vintages of Burgundy and classified Bordeaux (DRC, Pétrus, Latour, Lafite), Spanish cult wines (Vega Sicilia Único, Pingus, L'Ermita), prestige champagnes in magnum or jeroboam, very old single malts or those from closed distilleries (Macallan, Port Ellen, Brora). The vintage, the format, the condition of the label and the fill level matter as much as the name.

  • Absolutely nothing. The valuation is free and carries no obligation. If the figure does not convince you, you tell us and that is the end of it. We charge nothing for travel, photos or time. We do not keep your details if you do not sign.

  • Yes. We collect anywhere in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands at no extra cost. Outside that area – the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or abroad – we look at each case according to the size of the cellar (above certain values, international collection is free as well).

  • Of course. Many clients sell a selection and keep the rest. There is no minimum: if it is a good bottle, we value it all the same. Send us photos and we will tell you plainly whether we are interested, and at what price.

  • Entirely discreet. The agreement is a private contract between two parties: it is not published, shared or entered in any public register unless required by law. Your name never appears in our communications or on social media. The tax paperwork (invoice and agreement) is handed to you alone, for your own records. If you need it, we sign an additional non-disclosure agreement beforehand, at no cost.
