Privacy policy
In plain English: what data we keep, why, for how long, and how to ask us to delete it.
Data controller
Pablo Pinillos López, a sole trader (empresario individual, autónomo) with Spanish tax ID (NIF) 16632636-W and professional address in La Rioja, Spain. CompramosTuVino is the trading name under which the controller provides his services.
You can contact us by writing to tasaciones@compramostuvino.eu.
What data we collect
Only what you give us voluntarily through the valuation or contact forms: full name, phone number, email, town, and whatever you tell us about your cellar (inventory, photos, approximate volume and so on).
We collect no browsing data beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to work (see the cookie policy). To measure use of the site we rely on aggregated, anonymous analytics, with no tracking cookies and no individual profiling.
Your data is stored securely in a database hosted on servers within the European Union, with access restricted to the controller.
What we use it for
Solely to respond to your valuation request or enquiry: preparing the written offer, contacting you by email or phone, arranging the signing of the agreement and the collection, and meeting the resulting legal obligations (tax, accounting). We send no advertising, do no profiling and do not pass your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
How long we keep it
If you do not sign a sale: we delete your data from our systems within 3 months of the last contact at the latest.
If you sign a sale: we keep the necessary data (agreement, invoice, identification) for the period required by Spanish tax and commercial law (usually 6 years).
Legal basis
Processing is based on your express consent when you submit the form, on the performance of the contract where a sale is signed, and on compliance with legal obligations.
Customer reviews
If you have sold to us, we may send you a personal link to leave a review. It is voluntary and has no bearing on your transaction.
If you decide to write one, we publish the text, the rating, your name and the town or province you give. The legal basis is your express consent, which you give separately on that form and can withdraw at any time.
We also keep the date, your transaction reference and a technical fingerprint of the text received, which serve to show that the review comes from a genuine customer and is published unaltered. The IP address is not stored in clear text.
To withdraw your review or change the name it appears under, simply write to tasaciones@compramostuvino.eu. The full procedure is set out in how we verify reviews.
Recipients
Your data is handled internally by our team. On occasion, and under a data-processing agreement, it may be accessed by: our email provider (to send you a reply), our web hosting and database provider (with servers in the European Union), our electronic signature provider (Signaturit) for the agreement, and our tax adviser for the accounts.
We make no international transfers of data outside the EEA.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to tasaciones@compramostuvino.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) if you feel we have not responded adequately.
Additional confidentiality
For large collections or inheritances, we offer to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) at no cost before you share any sensitive information with us. Ask for it by email.
